BIO
Fabio DOURONE (born in 1985 in Madrid, currently based between Paris and Brussels) is a Spanish contemporary artist who has devoted his life to art since 1999.
From an early age, he immersed himself in the world of visual creation, participating in the production of sets for film, television, and international advertising campaigns. Simultaneously, he collaborated on conceptualizing sets for fashion photographers while developing his own artistic language through paintings and urban art interventions.
In 2012, DOURONE partnered with Elodie Arshak, forming an alliance that intensely dedicated themselves to muralism on a global scale. Together, they have created 109 large-scale murals in 22 countries and 66 cities, establishing themselves as influential figures in international urban art. At the same time, his paintings have been exhibited in galleries in cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Los Angeles, Hangzhou, Miami, and Brussels, among others.
In 2019, he decided to reduce his travels to focus on his artistic practice in his own studio, where he has developed a new and more introspective body of work.
His current work explores everyday human behavior through an imaginary universe, addressing contemporary world concerns and proposing reflections on possible futures. His work is characterized by a deep exploration of the duality of life, inviting the viewer to question and reflect on the reality that surrounds us.
